JEREMY SCOTT x ADIDAS

June 30, 2015

A little Sports ‘Glam’ Luxe?

I got this exclusive Adidas and Jeremy Scott collaboration from my BFF, when i saw it on i was like i need this in my life and i got it! Designer Jeremy Scott has always had an eye for vivid contrasts, patterns and creative animated visuals to intertwine into bespoke clothing . Equally this top (which i also like to wear as a dress) is both sporty and girly which is perfect for when I want to add a tomb by twist to my outfit.

This floral sequin tee is still available!! This t-shirt shines with allover clear sequins that show off the pink floral print underneath. Oversize for a chic slouchy fit, this tee comes in jersey with a mirror-effect Trefoil on the chest. I wore this out with Zara jeans and my trusty Stuart Weitzman sandals.

DENIM X DENIM

June 24, 2015

Double denim is whats hot this Spring/Summer and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere! I always thought it was nice, casual outfit to wear but the buzz seems to be blowing up within the street styles scene. I wore this denim on denim look while I was visiting a rehearsals for one of this years biggest UK fashion and music events for Rip The Runway UK which was amazing! This look is so easy to mimic and you can the mix the shades of denim and even the textures (if worn well)

FLORAL SUITING!

June 19, 2015

Clean lines and plain colour palettes is what I usually share with you. I received a Spring/Summer look book from Pearl and Portraits filled with a variation of print influenced suits and evening dresses. I was gifted a two piece suit which is a completely a different style and variation to what I have in my wardrobe. To not only challenge myself to mix it up a bit but the floral two piece reminds me of a 1950’s suit. It’s fun to wear pieces that draw inspiration from different eras, especially when the trend is still impactful to how we dress today.

NEW NAVY!

June 19, 2015

So lately I’ve had a thing for navy! It started with this simple affordable maxi ribbed dress from Zara, it fits really well and comfortable. I purchased a navy bomber jacket to wear with jeans for casual day looks and lastly I came across the cutest lady like box bag (really into this style at the moment). Every time I see navy I really love the midnight tones and hues that oozes out of a simple contemporary outfit.

To me navy is new, in terms of how you were the colour and what you wear it with. What I think is really cool is that, a colour you may have not been fond of in the past, all of a sudden it becomes new and fresh when wearing it becomes exciting lol. Isn’t there something special about wearing pieces that feels new even if it isn’t?

CHAPTER 2.4

June 19, 2015

Hi guys, it’s been a minute since I have been able to shoot sorry, life has been super busy but in a positive way so I am truly thankful; but of course I haven’t forgotten to share my continued style journey with you all! I turned 24 this past weekend, which still seems surreal to say that I am 24 since as I feel like I’m still 19. I have grown so much, career wise, personally and spiritually, I feel like I am becoming the woman I want to become even though I am not where I want to be just yet, the journey is unusually beautiful!

Now to the fashion! Over the past few weeks when shopping, I have picked up a thing for flared/wide length trousers, their formal and sophisticated but also chic with a comfortable fit. This is a change for me, as I usually like my bottoms tight or skinny so this is a key add onto my list of essential wardrobe items. I paired a white ASOS bra-let with Zara black flared pants and my trusty Pigalle pumps and I was good to go. I think key pieces such as flared bottoms are essential. The reason I say this is, you can throw on a white shirt and be interview ready, change into a crop top and head out on an evening out and both outfits look amazing. I personally have dressed up in both looks and it suited for both occasions.

SPRING SLITS

June 19, 2015

On a casual day I still try to look cute and chic but without that much effort lol. I was approached by AX Paris to pick pieces form their new selections and I came across this casual slit shirt dress. This outfit is definitely a casual look for me to wear in the day when I am busy running errands, I paired the top with loose fitting khaki bottoms and boots from Zara. These Zara boots are really comfortable and you can wear all day without hurting your feet at all. Wearing heels can dress up any outfit and adding this slit top it creates a more chic look for the day which is all around very comfortable when you have 101 things to do! What’s your casual look?
