LITTLE GIRL IN A BIG CITY: NEW YORK

June 19, 2015

Hey, if you have been following me on Instagram you will know I was in New York for the past few weeks on holiday it was an amazing personal and professional experience which opened my eyes to whats to come on my journey! So I hope you will continue to follow and join me on my journey of this thing called Life! New York was amazing and I cannot wait to go back.

Any who let me stop myself before I get talking away lol….While I was in New York I got a chance to shoot with my photographer and captured great shots of the beautiful city. I attended the first day of fashion week and wore my new shoes by BCBG MaxAzria, a pale beige leather mini skirt and a blush pink cropped jumper. I was feeling for pastels that day and put this ensemble together, hope you like as much as I do!

THE CLUOTTES

June 19, 2015

Hey, I finally got time to explore Notting Hill in west London, looking at the beautiful houses and the people (basically people watching lol). The weather was lovely so I took advantage of the moment and took some great pictures I wanted to share with you. My ultimate favourite colour is white, it’s classic, pure and compliments my skin tone so it is always the first pick when I see a great piece when I’m shopping. I wore my new white culottes’ with a crop top I got of ASOS, I really fell in love with this the denim and the white panelling at the bottom, very chic and clean for a denim crop top.

I also wore this look with trainers and thought it would be cool to get your opinion. Which look do you prefer heels or trainers?

NOT SO BASIC, BASICS

June 19, 2015

Wanted to share a few snaps I took the other day. I paired an Asos black cami dress which I also have in white, they are so comfortable and sexy as the dress hugs all the right places perfectly! I wore this dress with my new favourite trench coat from H&M its on sale now (will leave the link below). As I have said before for me it really is the most basic outfits which are so chic, that’s why I call them not so basic, basics. Simple pieces but the detail is there and that’s what’s up lol.

THE TWO PIECE

June 19, 2015

When I saw this two piece I thought it was simple and cute! And even better it was on sale, have to love a bargain right? I really like that it is a short set, I don’t usually wear this kind of ensemble to be honest so it was something to add to the wardrobe and its easy as the two piece is complete with no extra effort lol. Not sure if you can tell but it is a light denim material which is great for quality and will work with any foot wear. If you know me then you know I paired it with casual heels and walked around central London on a beautiful day.

OH SO SIMPLE!

June 19, 2015

A simple white skirt and a black cami is so classic and effortless to me. I attended a work awards show (which we won!) and I wore this little ensemble. Simple is never boring in my eyes, so when I was looking for something to wear this came together perfectly. To add a pop of colour I wore these suede sorbet blue pumps and it worked so well.

When in doubt pair black and white together and add a pop f colour with a statement high heel, always works for me.

P.S I really love the support and well wishes I have received since starting over and launching a whole new blog. It is a scary thing but all the well wishes have made this so beautiful so thank you!
