The Return Of The Puffa Jacket

November 22, 2016

My favourite winter purchase is The Puffa Jacket! The perfect combinatin of padding, warm and a large fit.  The puffa jacket is an all-rounder that you will wear every day. cool and comfortable which is the vibe I have been channelling this winter.

Puffa coats is so easy to style because you don’t have to be polished with your look. I typically wear my puffa with exactly how I styled it below.  I wore leather pants which are so chic for winter, along with my leather open-toe boots from Topshop. These are really cool and chic adding a little edge when I wear them. I also bought t-shirts from Footlocker which are perfect to throw on to stye with trousers. Sometimes a logo t-shirt gives a little bit more life to an outfit, dont you think? This Adidas T-shirt is from Footlocker they have a deal on currently with 2 for £20.00! Thank me later 🙂

Ending of 2016 – Random Thoughts To Share…

I feel at peace with were 2016 has taken me. Honestly, it has not been easy at all!

It’s been challenging, hard, tough to say the least. There were times this year that I dealt with anxiety and rejection. Through this time I have built strength, knowing myself deeper and proud with what I have achieved so far in my career. The possibilities are endless! And that’s what should stick when you’re in the midst of adversity.

Now I feel I can achieve anything! Never give up guys, NEVER. Eventually you will get there.

If my thoughts resonates with you, feel free hit me up as I want to use my platform to support and share my journey with you guys and start more conversations!

Turtle Neck – Keeping warm and sexy!

November 14, 2016

Turtle neck vibes are the perfect go to for keeping warm, as the coldness is no joke in these London streets! And it got colder quicker than anyone expected this year.

This week I’m sharing a simple chic casual winter look that I wore recently. A black simple ribbed turtle neck from Mango that i got last winter. Along with these sexy, thigh-high slit culottes from Miss guided. I got these in time from my end of summer trip to New York this September, and they are very flexible to style with different looks. I know what you’re thinking? It’s cold though. And that’s my point keeping sexy and warm and testing at times! The things you do at this young age for the love of style lol.

This season I really have played with casual style looks and really enjoy being comfortable. In my last two points I have highlighted this. My everyday looks tends to be my Nike Air Force 1’s, with jeans a turtle neck and my New Zara Puffa coat.

I sometimes play with the types of tops or jumpers and make it more feminine and sexy depending on where I’m going, just like this look.

I have been really reflective for the later of the year. A lot of things haven’t worked out and a lot of things have. I guess that is life, nothing is ever really predictable. I know I just changed the subject of this style post. It’s important I always drop an aspect of substance to blogging and being a ‘fashionista’ so to speak. There is so much more to me then fashion, I’m a marketer, working in the creative industries and building a name behind the scenes. I definitely will be sharing and putting more content on here of projects. Which will be more of projects that I am working on and my business interests.

Fall Shimmer – Keeping chic and sassy during winter!

November 3, 2016

Carrying on with my comfortable style winter looks, I came across this stunning shimmer, glittery jumper dress from Zara. It is such a beautiful one piece that you can throw on and feel glam.  I did wear this out with ripped jeans and it looked very chic. For you guys I wanted to style it with velvet boots.

I don’t usually wear much glitter and shimmer dressy looks but I had to, when I saw this jumper dress. Pairing the dress with a diamond look choker, it really adds sass and chic styling to the overall look. Of course ankle boots are a huge trend this winter and I am really into chunky comfortable heels, so it was an easy decision to purchase these boots!

Fall Trends This Season is…

Keeping it simple and comfortable for the winter adding a bit of shimmer, glitz and glam can sass up any everyday outfit.

Last winter I actually put together a cool casual look here too.

I actually have a few favourite winter looks from last year, so I am going to share with you another few of my top 2015 winter style post:

Starting with Black 101, as its states an all-black casual look wearing my favourite Nike high top air forces. Thirdly an all grey look featuring Schuch knew high boots which I still wear today!

Classy Comforts! – Fashion can be comfortable ladies!

October 25, 2016

Fashion is supposed to be comfortable right? Well lately I have felt so uncomfortable in some of my favourite pieces. I mostly wear jeans and they are all slim fits, which are really tight and to be honest I am over it. In the middle of my days I end up feeling irritated and uncomfortable in all these fitted clothes that I love so much. Fashion can be comfortbale ladies thats where classy comforts comes in!

Want to know why? Its getting cold in London and I am now an advocate for comfort at its best, wearing jumpers, loose fitting bottoms and trainers!!!

When I was experimenting with style as a student, I always wanted to look girly and the perfect idea what of a ‘women’ was always trying to wear heels and rock feminine fits that hugged my body. I will always love that look but as life is taking full steam ahead I don’t have time to be feeling sexy and uncomfortable. I don’t want to feel secluded in clothes and restricted to how I move.  This is were my classy comforts Inspirationcomes in,  I am gradually finding my way to dress with feminine fits that suit my style but most importantly are COMFORTABLE.

Current Vibes

So I styled Missguided Pyjama style loose fitting trousers white plain Asos oversized shirt and an Asos belt. I actually  bought this belt 2 years ago for £5.00 in the sale and never really liked once I receive it. So it just sat there just sat there and now i have finally put it to use. P.S. there are just some things you don’t throw away you never know when it will make or break your outfit. Not to forget my choker is from @BazaarJewellery a new start up accessories brand! Check them out! 🙂

Message of the week ladies, comfort wins!

Blooming!

October 5, 2016

Lately I have been juggling a few projects at a time and worrying so much about the execution, money and all these factors that you have no control over after some piont. Sometimes you may feel like that even as a blogger making sure the look your sharing is perfect, when in reality its not always like that and that really is the story about this style shoot too. But I’m so over it, (I should sound more articulate) but honestly sometimes we all need a reality check, when I first put this outfit together I was like errrr its all wrong but when I got to shooting, I felt comfortable in my skin. I felt great and it really showed when i saw the final pictures, being comfortable in your skin results for a  overall amazing finish, and that goes for many different things in life! Even if it may just be jeans, a bra top and heels!

If you’re going to love, love free

If you’re going to grow, grow free

If your going to heal, heal free

Less restrictions on your bloomings!

The End Of Summer Season

September 29, 2016

Hey Guys, I’m still sharing with you guys my New York Fashion Week style shots I took while enjoying the end of summer in the states. Just like that another summer has gone by 🙁 I always enjoy summer fashion you can feel sexy letting your glow shineeeee! It’s the season where colour blocking looks bomb and showing more skin is more fashionable 9within reason) and you wear outfits that are more freeing!

I shot some pieces with my friend and talented artist and photographer Ike, on the rooftop of our apartment in Williamsburg, embracing the ambiance of New York. How beautiful is this city?

Manhattan Living

September 21, 2016

The yearly trip to New York was a world wind of networking, fashion, friends and having a good time. For those who follow me on Instagram and on Snap Chat for 2 weeks I was in the US for a number of fun festivities. First I headed to Philadelphia for two days for Made in America Festival, which consisted of seeing the likes of Rihanna, Chance the Rapper, Cold Play and many more of my favourite music artists. Then I headed back to New York for Fashion Week events, parties and of course to catch-up with old and new friends.

New York is such a fast pace city, with so much going for young creatives and most importantly the opportunity to collaborate. When I was out there I really saw young, smart women come together and work on projects and just bring one another in on opportunities which was so empowering to witness. It is something I want to embrace here in the UK, we have amazing black girls killing it within their creative area’s of expertise and it is important that we stand together and create amazing moments. Especially when the opportunities are not being handed to us, we have to stand and create them together!

I got to shoot some of my New York style looks starting with these with the dope visual creator Pierre!
