5 Days In Morocco

July 10, 2017

5 days in paradise, 5 days with my love, 5 days in Morocco.

5 days In Morocco, felt like 5 days in serenity! It was an amazing holiday embracing the culture, new experiences, food, and language. And I want to share it with you and let you know about all the fun things you can do in Morroco.

Day 1

Day 1 is always an open day as you just arrive and settle in. Well, we did just that and more. Starting with our hotel, we stayed at the Dellarosa Hotel, in the center of Marrakesh. It is a small boutique hotel which was really cute and simple. It had a modern Moroccan decor hotel, which was really beautiful. The only downside was our hotel room decor was a dark brown, which wasn’t great for capturing makeup tutorials because t was too dark. Another not so nice experience was the breakfast the options were not too great. But other than that it was a lovely hotel, sometimes you take the good with the bad I guess. It was close to everything and everywhere, which was perfect for us!

To round up on day 1 – We went for an afternoon walk and had lunch/dinner then relaxed in the pool at our hotel and in the evening went to Famous 555 Club. It really cool club that played everything I wanted to hear. I definitely recommend you going there (but don’t turn up before 12 pm they party until 5 am, so 1 am is like early)

Day 2

It was an early start for a tourist day! I finally got to visit Rue Yves Saint Laurent garden. I didn’t know that it was originally owned by an architect Jardin Majorelle and then it was Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge then bought it once Jardin Majorelle passed away. To me, it’s a romantic creative story all about the love of art. And when you can there you feel it and see it.

We also went to the Moroccan market. It felt so authentic being in the midst of it, hearing locals call me and boyfriend brother and sister. Hearing them persuaded to purchase whatever they had to offer. To be honest we enjoyed it and laughed with them as we walked by.

Day 3

5 days In Morocco

We got active!!! Definitely my boyfriends favourite day. We went Quad biking in the desert and then went camel riding. You can usually book these excursions through your hotel and it is really cheap and a full day experience. One to tick off the bucket list!

Day 4

Was a more fun!! We went to a beach house day party, it’s called Famous Beach and owned by the same people that run Club 555 that we went to on day 1. It’s a beautiful mansion, amazing decor (great to capture content) with many pools, Dj, restaurant, and bar. Everything you need in one place to relax and enjoy the sun!

Day 5 5 days In Morocco

Ending our holiday on a high, we went for a beautiful walk enjoying the Moroccan city. It really is a beautiful city, cultural with so much to do and experience. I didn’t get a chance to go the atlas mountain, which is on my wishlist for the next time I go there.

Return Of The Mac!

May 16, 2017

Mac Jackets are oh so necessary when the sun is ‘sometimish’ and the wind is more consistent than the sun.

A few weekends ago it was a very busy one. Non stop running around starting with shooting content for the blog and writing reviews and insights for the #lifeofamarketinggirl segment, which i hope you guys are enjoying! Then I whisked my way to the other side of London and had an afternoon brunch hosted by a lovely blogger friend @bdblggr you may be following her if not, you should do so! We ate and talked for ages, not really about but life and evolving as we are in our mid 20’s. Lastly I then ended Westfield shopping with my friends shopping!

ISA LOOK

I really didn’t want to look ‘matchy, matchy’. There was a voice in my head that was saying’ mix it up, wear something random. And that’s exactly what I did. I knew I wanted to be comfortable so wearing tight clothes was not a desire. I threw on this stripy shirt from Zara which is so easy to wear with anything. I paired the top with comfortable stretchy jeans from Zara (that shop is giving me luxury visuals right now with their pieces) and completed my look with Next’s blue Mac jacket and leather Zebra pumps.

I was comfortable, chic and free. A style combo I recommend for any city girl running round trying to do it all!

Ripped Jeans – Mixed with a thought piece on knowledge!

March 2, 2017

The other day I got a message from someone on my Instagram asking – What do you think of Ripped jeans? And I said I love it, its fun. It was a random question but it really ticked that ripped jeans is a key trend that is impactful to looks.

Again I am wearing my favourite staple brand Wolford! This time I’m wearing the Opaque Transparent Nature body. It soft, stretchy, with asymmetric detail that adds some detail.

Now to more important chit chat!

Knowledge Is Power – This saying was said to me so many times as a child and NOW as a 25 year old have I really deeped and understood it. Especially in my career and knowing how to deal with people in the work place, colleagues, senior members of staff. As a blogger, knowing how to communicate assertively but classy, knowing how to negotiate with brands so that you I don’t be a disservice to myself.

You have to know your stuff. You have to be equipped with the knowledge, the wisdom and the facts to move forward fearlessly in all aspects of your life. A key tool to do this is knowledge. Going into any environment blindly is dangerous. Engaging in experiences and not being prepared to shine and own your contribution and value in any situation is a BIG dis-service to yourself!

Let’s do better. If you want to get into the blogging/YouTube world research, find out what you like and how you would like to contribute to the blogger-sphere. Want to be a creative director? Again research make that your life (not take over your life) but embrace the passion, determination and be clued up so that you can deliver to the best of your ability. What ever it is the same principle applies.

I’m sharing this because it is a trait I have been consciously embracing and activating in my life and i’m seeing the fruits of my labour and it feels amazing. I want you to feel this way too!

The End Of Summer Season

September 29, 2016

Hey Guys, I’m still sharing with you guys my New York Fashion Week style shots I took while enjoying the end of summer in the states. Just like that another summer has gone by 🙁 I always enjoy summer fashion you can feel sexy letting your glow shineeeee! It’s the season where colour blocking looks bomb and showing more skin is more fashionable 9within reason) and you wear outfits that are more freeing!

I shot some pieces with my friend and talented artist and photographer Ike, on the rooftop of our apartment in Williamsburg, embracing the ambiance of New York. How beautiful is this city?

Keeping It Blush

May 26, 2016

Keeping things blush and trying to keep spring vibes around, I wore a light pink shirt a few weeks ago and styled it with a classic pair of white, wide leg trousers.  Tailored cuts are forever a staple piece in one’s wardrobe! I couldn’t tell you how many times I have worn these trousers and in so many ways! Outfits like this remind me why it is so key to collect timeless stylish pieces and store them away; and this right here, is one of them!

2 years ago I made it a rule to ONLY shop for classic pieces that I could have for a long time and when I look at this outfit it reminds why! Simple, classic and forever chic. Style is supposed to be easy for every day and fun for a great occasion but most importantly creating everlasting fashion moments. I will definitely be picking up my classic piece mantra and let you know what else I purchase!

Blue Vibes

April 28, 2016

While I was away in Barcelona, which is one of the best city’s in Europe by the way! I bought this light blue top that looked really cute from Berksha for like £15.00. I paired this with a denim skirt feeling the light summer blue tones.

When the sun comes out I love to experiment with light, pastel tones and I felt really comfortable and sexy in this outfit. Completing my look with my ultimate favourite heels, my YSL Jane sandals, chic and sexy, as I like it.

What’s your summer vibes that you are into this year?

Spring Season

April 22, 2016

When spring begins I always feel a sense of excitement and happiness. The sun tends to bring a feeling of relaxation, which is needed!

With more sunny days ahead I have been trying to keep to my style objective, experimenting with brighter and fun colours. I think I am doing ok so far (always room for improvement)! I paired a nude mini leather skirt, with a black silk cami and a white blazer. I actually miss wearing a blazer, it really completes for a simple, classy and chic look. To add some edge I wore black open toe cut-out knee high boots which I got for £35.00 from £120.00 in Topshop’s mid-season sale! I was super happy and surprised by the final price, what a steal! If you are looking for seasonal gems, I think now is a good time to get shopping.

My advice – Get summer glam ready but on a budget, dont spend more than you need to.
